Alright guys, let's finish this up
So I will continue blogging, but my presentation is this Thursday. I'm pretty much done with my presentation, but I need some feedback! I've raised some money for the team which is part of my senior project, and all that's left to do is find out what I taught you. Please! Tell me what you think! What have you learned? What did I do well? What didn't I do well? I need your help! :) Thanks guys

It’s really obvious that you are enthusiastic about robotics and it makes it interesting to read about. I am someone who is terrible with technology and I feel as though you made these seemingly complicated topics easier to comprehend. I also enjoyed how much you talked about your own robotics team and your role, because it showed that you know what you’re talking about. However, I would say that the design of your blog is kind of bland, although I now think it is silver like metal to represent robotics. Still, I think pictures would have been effective in grabbing people’s attention; you mentioned several innovations that most people—like myself-- aren’t familiar with, and pictures would have been helpful in our understanding. Aside from that I think your blog did a good job of bringing to light the advancements in technology that will play a significant role in the future, especially at the rate that technology is developing recently. Technology is an important topic and I think you approached it with the kind of enthusiasm that made it less intimidating, so I hope you keep up with the blog!

ReplyDeleteYour blogs have bailed me and the other captians out on several occasions when we have been late in getting out our business updates. I will start by thanking you for that. The only thing I will add for improvement is that you might want to either reference the updates, or put up a link to a photojournal so that everyone can see the pictures, like Tina suggested. Other than that, keep the blog going. You have been a lignt in the darkness for many who do not think they are very good at anything that has the word robot in it, and a role model for all things FIRST. Thanks for everything you have done for us.

I think that everything in the blog was well researched, and that you have shown a lot of knowledge about what you are talking about. but i though this is true i also agree with Tina, though i do know what you are talking about i think that picture would of helped only so people would better under stand what you are talking about but also so they would have a better visual of what you are so passionate about. i would like to say that overall this was an amazing blog and i hope that you continue on with it after senior project is over.
